About SJAPB

St John's Institution Alumni Pipe Band (SJAPB) was founded in 2005 by ex-students of St. John Institution and members of St. John Institution Cadet Band. With strong passion for music, especially highland tunes, SJAPB is created as a place for friends to share and learn about highland music. SJAPB membership is closed to ex-members of St. John Institution Cadet Band for now.

With strong background in Scottish musical skills, SJAPB ventured in providing bagpipe tunes for the masses. SJAPB has performed in more than a hundred shows within the region. The band has also actively participated in the international arena. One of our most memorable acts is being part in the pipes & drums highland gathering held in Jakarta plus a few competitions around the globe.

Coming to you with a strong passion for performance and entertainment, the band has been established as a group of musicians who display their unique skill and professionalism in their presentation.
